President Bola Tinubu has condemned the deadly attack on Naridon Village in Kamaru Ward, Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, where about 30 residents, including women and children, were killed by suspected gunmen.

The President described the assault, which occurred in the early hours of Monday, as a barbaric and cowardly act of terror against innocent citizens. Several homes were also razed during the attack, leaving many families displaced.

In a statement issued on Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu vowed that those behind the killings would be tracked down and brought to justice.

He directed the Armed Forces, the Nigeria Police Force and other intelligence agencies to intensify operations in the affected communities, apprehend the perpetrators, rescue abducted victims and restore peace to the area.

The President warned that those seeking to undermine the improved security situation in Kaduna State would not escape justice, stressing that his administration remains committed to protecting lives and safeguarding communities across the country.

Tinubu also extended his condolences to the families of the victims, the Kaduna State Government, Governor Uba Sani and the people of the state over the tragic loss of lives.

Reaffirming his administration\'s resolve to combat insecurity, the President said the Federal Government would continue to strengthen the nation\'s security architecture, improve the capacity of security agencies and dismantle criminal networks threatening national peace.

He further urged residents to support security agencies by providing timely and credible intelligence that could help prevent future attacks and enhance rapid security response.
