Deputy President-Elect of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) Worldwide, Mayor Aladiokuma Henry Hart, on Monday paid a courtesy visit to His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Mujahid Asari-Dokubo, Dabaye Amakiri I, Amayanabo of Torusarama-Piri and former Deputy President and President of the Ijaw Youth Council Worldwide.

Speaking during the visit, Mayor Ala said he came to express his heartfelt appreciation to the revered monarch for his unwavering support and fatherly guidance throughout the just-concluded IYC election, particularly his pivotal role in the reconciliation efforts that culminated in the successful Unity Convention.

He also formally informed the royal father of the inauguration of the newly elected IYC leadership, scheduled to hold on 22 July 2026.

In his response, His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Mujahid Asari-Dokubo, offered his fatherly blessings and goodwill to Mayor Aladiokuma Henry Hart and the incoming leadership, wishing them a successful and impactful tenure in advancing the interests of Ijaw nation.
